奥村晋也先生の論文がAnnals of Surgical Oncology誌に掲載されました

奥村晋也先生（H18卒）の論文「Visceral adiposity and sarcopenic visceral obesity are associated with poor prognosis after resection of pancreatic cancer（膵癌患者における内臓脂肪とサルコペニア肥満は予後不良である）」が、この度、Annals of Surgical Oncology誌に掲載されました。
これまで膵癌膵切除患者における術前筋肉量と筋肉の質の低下が予後不良因子である、との報告（Okumura et al. Surgery 157;1088-98, 2015)をしましたが、今度はさらに内臓脂肪とサルコペニア肥満に着目して予後との関係を検討したものです。

また、肝内胆管癌に関しては、同じくAnnals of Surgical Oncology誌に「Impact of skeletal muscle mass, muscle quality, and visceral adiposity on outcomes following resection of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma（肝内胆管癌患者における筋肉量と筋肉の質の低下、内臓脂肪は予後不良因子である）」(24;1037-1045, 2017)を報告しております。現在、奥村先生は、パリ大学Pitié-Salpêtrière病院にて、内視鏡手術を含む肝胆膵移植外科の臨床や研究に邁進しています。（文責　海道）
